Reaching the final days of incubation on these quail eggs! I still don't have high hopes of any hatching. But I've at least found a local quail keepers group & made friends with a breeder that lives in my town! She advised I see it out! She's also been sharing advice & pics with me!💙

We were told Koda was border Collie Kelpie. But given how large he has gotten. He's definitely border collie lab. 😂

Another little amazing update, Sophie is completely unmedicated as of a couple months or so back! Her meds helped us lower her stress threshold enough, combined with Koda and Nalas help with training, that she's off her meds! She still has a ways to go, but its amazing to see her being so confident!

When we got Koda he had major resource guarding issues, due to past living conditions.
Sophie looked up as I grabbed my phone. But they were just SHARING THIS BONE😭💙
I'll ALWAYS miss Max. But Koda is the best thing to happen to Sophie, & its wonderful seeing our hard work with both of them pay off!💙

One good thing tho, is nerve damage from use isn't a concern anymore.
While usage "will slow an already lengthy recovery, on top of causing pain".. She did reluctantly say I CAN do some things that I need/want to get done. But I should limit it each day & ice immediately after.😅

Good news, she doesn't think I'll need surgery.
Bad news, its because after MORE x-rays they've found its not what they thought it was.🙃
Got fitted with a new brace & I start PT next week to try & address the pain & tremors. 💀

Trust me buddy.. I'm aware of the risk of missing out on rebates and such... it fuckin sucks.. but so does 9% interest if we finance it... It'd be cheaper to just replace it when it does die & not get rebates. 💀

The guy we spoke with about the HVAC/Solar. was the owner of a small business here.
This guy is a middleman who set up the "meeting" & is now trying to pressure me into moving forward.
Where as the other guy was chill & respected our decision to save up rather than finance anything.

Amazing weekend at AWU, but I definitely missed the babies! They both did AMAZING with my sister while we were away tho! Which made me so happy to hear and able to actually relax this weekend!💙
