well, they try to frame the Shadow side as "freedom" and "instinct" and Light as "order and reason"

but so far the only "freedom" we've seen is Bartholomeus committing massacre, and apparently being captain of an imperial squad that doesn't exist

ok so according to the world-building so far

these human-animal hybrid people behave a lot more like humans with no semblance of whatever their animal-hybrid is--

unless they form a pact with fenris THEN their animal-specific features gets more pronounced

so is it just human=good, animal=bad?

if anyone's wondering why im yapping about fe shadows now (we really need an abbreviation for this), its cuz i feel like im accidentally shilling the game when i say i like it when almost everything apart from gameplay is terrible

its not even half of book 1

they definitely improved the presentation on book 2 but only like 5% and that's by adding 1 cg

let me be clear that i enjoy fe:shadows as a game but i still think the main story is dogwater

tho im confused about the general lore and not in a good way
