I finally finished Displacement by Kiku Hughes and I recommend giving it a read! It’s a great comic with a lot of heart and research put into it, and it remains extremely relevant especially today in authoritarian America.

The arc for this film covers stuff between ch 39 and 52 I believe and I think you might have some things spoiled yeah. It’s a continuation of the story after the first season before they drop the next season. I def recommend reading up to chapter 32 before watching.
