A while back, I decided to change my attitude about an overflowing email inbox.
Now, I start the day by saying, "Time to answer my fan mail!"
I respond to the emails with gratitude and graciousness, as befitting a star talking to an admirer.
Look, it gets the job done. Leave me to my delusions.

Welp. It was inevitable, and now it's official. As an American citizen who opposes the concept and practice of fascism, I am now on a government hit list.
I feel so SEEN.

Today:

You are allowed to judge my behavior.
That's what laws and social mores are about.
But you don't get to tell me when my feelings are wrong.

I'm out of sorts. Have been most of the week.
I'm hoping to be restocked on sorts soon.

Perseverance pays off.

Today marks the start of a busy-but-fun stretch! Bestie Mona arrives tonight, for a week long stay through Fat Joy Summer Celebration, where I'll be emceeing, performing, and facilitating a whole bunch of events. 💫
