I think I’ve done both submitted too early and worked on manuscripts for far too long. My critique group has been a huge help at telling me when stories need more work and when I need to stop tweaking and just hit submit.

Thanks! It is inspired by my 8 year old who would hide behind video games if I let him and avoid any real world risk or vulnerability.

Spoiler alert: just like the character in this story, he is making great strides facing one challenge at a time.
