The GCR in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire are separated by 500 yards of missing bridges and embankments at Loughborough. In this video Tim Dunn looks at the project, already well under way, to close that gap.

Looks like the 210 doors and the tartan ish moquette follows as the units went to Scotland for a bit . Pretty sure the video is filmed on GWML hence HSTs, a London bus depot and I think the west Drayton sidings with wagons in, as well as Paddington. Easy train & route to book from production/BR POV!

As we hurtle north, autumn seemingly surrenders and Home Counties hills fall away. Sun flickers and flashes through the carriage catching faces, drawing them westward.
