We spoke up about it for years and City Council chose to ignore us and privatize everything. Staff scared them. Staff with a LRT Department Head that used to work at Metrolinx before the City AND whose city job is funded by Metrolinx.

Infographic says a lot! Sex workers are disproportionately vulnerable to violence, injury, societal disdain, and an inability to equitably access healthcare and other public services.

"USW 7135 president, Frank Crowder, argued it would be more effective to link fine size to the revenue of a particular corporation, suggesting a $500,000 fine could sink a smaller business while still representing a “speed bump to a huge corporation.”

We help in organizing efforts when unions ask, but we are not a union and can't do card check ourselves. We focus on community organizing and trying to raise the standards of all working class people.

We will connect workers with union organizers if workers from a work site come to us.
