I used to put just sine beeps on stuff that was placeholder, but then people were complaining its too annoying. Hard to miss though, and thats kind of the point? :D Another philosophy is if you add a placeholder, it needs to be good enough to ship with, which Im trying out nowadays.

This is great Joakim, thanks for sharing!
My favourite museum in all of Stockholm, beautiful year round. Shout out to Millesgården
Very much time to stop using WeTransfer, with their updated terms that clearly state they have the right to use anything you transfer across their service, to train AI, create derivative works, basically steal and use anything you post through them. This is now laid out in section 6.3, posted below:
A very important thread in these trying times
No. People often say „dont burn bridges, you might want to work there again”. I would rather be homeless than work in a place that literally stripped my life from any joy.
Beautiful!
'Creativity flourishes when workers feel secure:' Ubisoft Halifax workers file to unionize
"With no end in sight to the industry-wide turbulence that sees studios shutter on releasing games fans love, it is up to us, the workers, to organize and demand a say in our labour, art and future."
New job alert 😌
Voice actor union strikes back after Fortnite debuts controversial AI-powered Darth Vader
„Beatings will continue until morale improves”.
Another misguided decision, most likely they are trying to just get rid of people and avoid the legal hassle.
More Stockholm game companies will probably follow their steps although I hope Im wrong.
Doing something nice for the inner child in me this evening 😅
Im sorry you had to go through all that, but thanks for speaking up. I think a lot of people are just afraid to call what it is, which is gaslighting and mobbing. And right now, the studios have all the power with current work shortage, and people are suffering through a lot, just to stay employed.
I have the pleasure of working with Thomas, an absolutely terrific and passionate guy, check out his scripts!
I second this, also I’ll always prefer content quality over complex systems. You can make an amazing sounding game with simple implementation, however you can have the most complex system in the world, but if the content is bad its worth nothing.
Ah sorry, misread that, i guess I have only restaurants on my mind 😅😅
Which one was that? There’s a couple good ramen places by Odenplan, Kumo Ramen, and Take Ramen. I go there for lunch every once in a while
🤣🤣
😍😍😍
Better than the banana pizza i suppose 😏
Not a kebab pizza I hope? 😅
I use it on headphones when working remote, and when Im back in the studio things transfer fairly well. Although I found that it depends a bit on the headphones you use.
Thanks for sharing Justin, very inspiring and a great read!
Let’s show this to all the people in game dev who say women employees “destroy teams”. I run into that take way too often…
Well deserved, the team did a great job. Really enjoyed their Hilversum audiokinetic talk!
