It’s been a long time since I last posted here, and I am back to say that Donal Trump needs to fuck right off with his Monroe doctrine, and fuck right off of Latin America.

I find it fascinating, and honestly a little infuriating, that so many people have so many negative things to say about any men’s tennis outfit that doesn’t follow the very strict norm, going so far as even body shaming in a “joking” manner.

That’s why men’s fashion is so scared of trying.

Let me also be clear here: this isn’t a generalization of ALL peoples living in the US. It’s a comment mostly about Trump, what he represents, and the people who put him there - voters and politicians included.

And you know, there’s many other countries with similar history, with China still promoting heavy nationalism which they use as a tool to claim ownership over Hong Kong and Taiwan, but the way it exists in the US is just… weird? It’s stuck up, condescending, and in many ways ignorant.

I think that one of the stupidest things about Canada becomes the “51st state” is that the whole of this one state would be larger that the entire US altogether.

I love the US in many aspects, but gosh their “chosen people” history of imperialism is disgusting.

After seeing some of Zverev’s match against Paul and Djokovic, I really don’t see how he can walk out with the trophy. He’s playing an uninspiring, passive, boring brand of tennis and has relied solely on timely good serves and chokes from his opponents to win. A level-headed Sinner takes this easy.

Gauff completely imploded in these pst couple games. Seems to have conformed to be playing badly. Maybe the heat has something to do with it (it looks unbearably hot on that court)

Tough losses in Grand Slams probably feel like the saddest possible thing that could happen to someone in sports. Maybe only topped by World Cup and Olympics losses.

What I find exciting about the next couple of years of tennis is that we are switching focus from the record breakers to the new stories. It’s not about which is the next all-time record to be broken, it’s about who are going to be the next players who will play the next best matches of the decade.
