These days in English if you say something sucks that means it’s bad but if something fucks that means it’s good, but fuck you is still bad, as is being a fucker, and I find this all wonderful and chaotic.

I am not tolerant. I strive to be kind, to fight against injustice, to be open minded and accepting of others’ points of view, within reason. None of these things requires me to be tolerant of those who would seek to harm others.

The right’s twisting of the word woke into something negative must be one of the single most heinous and widespread instances of cultural appropriation in decades. I’m so tired of explaining this to people.

But if it’s true that one guard always lies and the other always tells the truth, the guard that says “one of us always lies, etc.” must be the one that tells the truth. This occurred to me literally yesterday. It both guards say it, that’s a paradox because one of them is supposed to be lying.

She was detained because someone somewhere decided her work visa was invalid.

This Canadian woman’s story with ICE reads like a horror novella.

ICE cannot be allowed to continue these inhumane and illegal detentions.

tRump, muskRat, dunce and every other politician and billionaire need to be imprisoned in their own detention centers then deported.

The under 19 thing is so weird. I don’t understand how it’s possible to blanket deny treatment to legal adults. I mean, denying treatment to trans youth is awful regardless of their age, but it cannot possibly be legal to police the medical choices of legal adults this way, can it?
