Thanks for the reply Rachel. I’m a long time follower of your work over on IG. In the past I used to think that PS was required to create “good” images but I’m now seeing that LR is more than capable of getting the job done

That’s pretty interesting, normally you see people start with LR and then make their way over to PS. That’s the route I took at least. PS scared me for a long time lol

I also start over in LR to catalogue and do very basic adjustments before switching over to PS.

Truthfully I’ve never heard of paint shop pro. I’ll have to look into it. Photoshop is a fantastic application, I’d highly recommend it

This is very similar to my current workflow. Import to LR, catalogue, basic adjustments and then move it over to PS.

Thank you! I use PS for the same reasons, I feel as if I can really fine tune my edits over there. It seems like LR has come along way as of late though.

I typically process my images using primarily photoshop, however I processed this image 100% in Lightroom. What does everyone’s work flow look like, Lightroom, photoshop or a combination of the two? I’m curious to hear.
