Driving on the way to my chosen spot I could see the sky lighting up through the windscreen of the car so I had to pull and make the most of where I was! This happened to be in the middle of Dunstan Gorge. After there I tried a few other spots near by spots!

flip it, twist it, tweak it, project it… then present it in whatever manner you bloody well feel like!

Our existence perplexes me at the best of times… so when things get weird what’s the best thing to do?

I reckon… take a 72 image Multi-row Panorama of a G4-5 Geomagnetic Storm under the cover of Cirrocumulus Clouds…

Blue Auroras are a bit rarer than their counterparts! The Red and Green Aurora occur at lower altitudes, usually below 100 kilometres whilst Blue Aurora is produced when electrons collide with nitrogen molecules at around 500 kilometers in the upper atmosphere, causing them to emit blue light.

The Ladies New Season Colours are looking good to me πŸ”₯ loving the 🌎 what do you think? Did many people capture much of the blue?

What a bangin start to the year! After driving around for a bit looking for a location to stop, we settled on a relatively sheltered area next to the road. The plan was to track but that lasted about as long as it took to set up the trackers!

The morning after the night before

Waking up after a couple of hours kip in the back of the car, spent because of the excitement of the 2 Dec 23 Aurora display, peaking through a slit of an eye kinda hoping sunrise was no good… only to find this and thinking, I have too!
