MVTA showed their new EV microtransit Connect bus fleet today. These electric buses serve the Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan area with on-demand service. It’s similar to Uber/Lyft but for bus fare prices. Book rides via an app. Very cool addition to transit options.

Looking for those silver linings where you can find ‘em. Amtrak Borealis from St Paul’s Union Depot is one of those gems. Sweet day-trip to Winona and back. All good with the exception of lousy old fashions in the cafe car (powder mix? -WTF).
