The first time he ever had to actually use his gun was when he was traveling with the merchant to get supplies, running into a few ruin hunters for the first time.

In the care of the merchant, he was taught how to defend himself physically and verbally from an early age. The merchant was gentle, yet stern with him while he was younger.

Growing up, he referred to the merchant as uncle, looking up to him as a role model.

Appearance wise, he looks more like his mother, with the addition of his father’s nose and hair color, as well as height. Eyes and facial structure came from his mother.

Adopted and raised by a merchant his parents knew in Liyue .
Parents feared for Zephyr’s future three months after he was born, resulting in them sending him overseas to Liyue in hopes to give him a better life.
