ETA 002: I can still play but just barely as the lag is intense. Using OBS would kill my game completely, and not having stable internet also is an issue. I will still post screenshots from my gameplay as I can.

ETA 001: I’m currently on hiatus when it comes to downloads of my builds and sims. Anything on my Simblr has not been updated or tested in a while. I don’t have a stable computer setup for TS4 and being that I’m on disability, I’m not likely to for awhile.

I’m dead-ass surprised here. I didn’t watch the trailer for the new expansion because I want to be surprised. I really did think that this expansion would make playing kids less boring. Hell, even playing AS AN INFANT is more amusing than playing kids in TS4. Them skimping on kid CAS is just 😡

I’ve been gaming since the 2000s with 13 years of WoW as raid leader, then ESO and Destiny 1 and 2.. so I’m definitely used to release patches/emergency fixes but since returning to TS4 in Dec.. I think EAXIS has won over Destiny 2 for most emerg hotfixes in a single release 👀

my favorite looks from #TheSims4BusinessesAndHobbies (what an enormous hashtag)! CAS is HEAVY in this pack, with some great assets, especially for masculine sims. loved the color scheme and the textures. didn't like the shoes as much as i thought i would, but that's nit-pitting tbh

I ugly snorted at this — and needed the laugh, thank you! What hair was it? Also 100% would die to see the literal embodiment of this tweet. We can all have Sims with eyebrows well into their hairlines, looking like surprised!Patrick Swayze’s bad Botox all because of some hairs that don’t work lol.

I’m more of a builder than a CAS person but when I create my own Sims, I don’t have “same face syndrome” so much as “same style syndrome”. I can use Pinterest etc for inspo and I still cannot make a feminine sim to save my life 🤣 They just look very tomboyish (according to people that DL mine).

I definitely don’t gravitate towards female clothing though I do love the pantsuits that came with My Wedding Stories I believe it was? There might be one or two with HSY but I think they’re just weird sequin ones. City Living has some good ones too. My sims rock them often in formal wear.

3) I envy how you can make eyebrows work. I swear, something in my game broke awhile ago and my sims eyes/eyebrows just don’t line up well anymore. Facial piercings are also out, RIP. I used to be so good at CAS too.

I’m so here for Zach and Hori 👀 I don’t have the expansion and likely won’t for awhile but I might still download them and find something to replace their hair/etc with in the interim.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who absolutely loves the Sims from trailers, livestreams etc. I was so stoked recently to have found the old vampires and werewolf sims from the Vampires and the Werewolves trailers, and they’re a permanent fixture in my game <3

I had no way to get to an emergency shelter so we stayed in my apt where I did everything to ensure he stayed warm with me. Thankfully he’s always loved sitting around my neck like a scarf or sitting in my shirt against my stomach, so that was our week - full of cuddles.

I’m in Ontario, Canada, so we’ve been hit with some nasty snow and ice storms the last several weeks (after years of not getting much of that at all) and the first year I had Roman, we had an ice storm that cut power for a week during Christmas.

You’re not the only one! My love bug, a Russian Blue I named Roman, was adopted from the SPCA and has a rather tragic story. Him and his brother were the sole survivors of their litter and I often would wonder the what if’s during our terrible weather.

Also, I swear I’ve heard this band somewhere recently too but it’d have been in something I watched lately, which was just a rewatch of every season of The Vampire Diaries 🤣 Don’t judge.

I’ll be honest, normally I don’t look at music recs because I feel like I’ve a super niche set of likes there, but this slaps and the visual aesthetic reminded me of Garbage or Cake circa 1990 so I’m here for it. Ty for sharing! I’ll be finding them on Spotify now.

I’m sure you’ve found the area on their site that shows free and premium trackers you can download, aye? They have tons of categories but none are for gaming or even D&D. I showed my friend your tracker and while he doesn’t sim, he plays D&D and realised he could use it for his campaigns.

But a point I do make often when people ask why I use Notion over anything else for TS4 tracking — I can have a half-dozen unorganized Google Docs and Google Sheets, or I can have a Notion workspace. You’d think that company would be kinda proud people are using their stuff more creatively.

I know, that’s something that comes up a lot in the Notion subreddit when I’m asking questions and someone asks me to link a copy of the Notion workspace I’m having issues with. When they kinda just go “…wait are you tracking Sims stuff?” I’m like 👀 lol. I can feel the judgements over the internet.

Like I realise they need to charge for services but 90% of the digital planning community uses GoodNotes and Notion. GoodNotes lets you pay once and that’s it. It’s also not $200. Notion is just looking greedy at this point. Sorry this got long lol.

So I know the time it takes to create coded things and make sure it works for the overwhelming majority of people. I always hated when sites would change something in their code to try and force our hand at say, disabling Adblock or something. It’s just scummy on some companies.
