Here are some contextless little glimpses - just to remind myself, if nobody else, that it's a beautiful game full of strange and wonderful things

Some of the cool games I played at @adventurex.bsky.social this weekend:
(1/4) Asocial Giraffe, a cute and funny point and click by Quail Button (@asocialgiraffe.bsky.social) about avoiding all forms of social interaction.

ah cool, the only time I used the flea juice was for the courier quest! (Probably would have helped me, too, since Reaper has a slow attack)

Reaper for the amazing pogo hitbox and the super useful rising dash attack (attack/evade at the same time)
For tools I used the delver's drill, and the curveclaw, which I found to be an excellent general projectile, and it is, but I found out after I finished the game that you can upgrade it ;_; oop

Fascinating!
-I somehow scraped the high halls gauntlet first time, but I had Shakra helping me which meant I could heal
-Groal was -horrendous- and I don't know if I'd ever have beaten it without using the 'stand in the water' exploit
-Karmelita would easily be S tier for me, along with Lost Lace

For story I'd generally agree, but for gameplay, I feel like if you can solve at least one puzzle while you're sat at the demo booth, you come away with a pretty good idea of it

nice!! how did you get on with the final boss? was there a different boss you thought was the hardest? I'm always so curious

(3/4) Dark Tides, a beautiful point and click adventure game by HammeredCrow (@darktidesgame.bsky.social) with a particular 3D style that I find very appealing. In the most complimentary way possible, it feels like a PC game from 2007 or something
