Reform UK councils in ‘shambles’ as newly elected councillors fail to show up

This week in Kent County Council has been a trainwreck for Reform UK Plc.

But it seems that we are not unique as Reform Councils all over the UK are in a mess.

Reform UK Kent council cost-cutting drive in doubt Nathaniel Fried resigned from Reform UK on Thursday, following Zia Yusuf's departure.

As a Lib Dem Cllr on KCC, watching this Reform circus is concerning and predictable. Their much-vaunted DOGE cost-cutting drive already in tatters - key figures resigned within days one then came back. Vulnerable residents deserve serious governance, not populist stunts.
