it's honestly so embarrassing, man. like this feels like it should be satire but it's real fucking life and there are people out there that think this isn't eye-bleedingly awful dogshit.

I dont know when needing an id became a suggestion instead of a requirement in ppls heads but they arent. optional. and commercial businesses WILL enforce it and cannot bypass these things.

if you are trying to do these things without a state id, license, or passport, the business will be flagged for fraud and will not accept pictures or scans and can even deny you service. Dame goes for alcohol and age restricted items.

reminder to the american public at large: your id is necessary for basically everything financial and legal. including age restriction and money reception. retail commerce will not give a shit fuck or damn about you losing your wallet.
