Simba is in a better place.

I will miss when he always jumped on my lap to find comfort, him waiting patiently on the dining room for when I wake up to feed him, and his most gentle meows to me for whatever he wants.

Amidst the pure chaos that my life has been lately, the amazing @mysticmike.bsky.social went and got me Fantasy Life i so that I could enjoy the game. And so we could co-op together when we get that opportunity to do so. 😭 You're the best nerd I could ever ask for. Thank you, babe.

Anxious to a point of wanting to vomit. There are risks with blood removal as it is. And I have to bring her back tomorrow morning for a blood recheck.

Which can cause seizures. Her numbers today are so high that her EKG was abnormal and the vet was like "she can't go home like this. She can have multiple seizures again and her medicines won't do anything for her."

Hana came home Saturday on anti seizure meds. Turns out her red blood cells were just through the fucking roof--an expected thing for pups with reverse PDA. Her blood was thickened to a point of not getting enough oxygen to her brain.

Brings dog on for routine echocardiogram and blood work > ends up in waiting room with pup needing emergency blood removal cause her red blood cell count is dangerously high. 🫠

Pictured is a brown and white chihuahua, named Hana, in my arms. She has an IV in one of her legs. We're at the emergency vet following her having multiple seizures. She has to stay at least overnight, for treatment and tests. She's a little more stable in this image, but is currently on oxygen therapy and anti seizure meds to help her along.

Today I had to rush Hana to the emergency vet after she suffered multiple seizures. Five in total over an hour and a half. She's in heart failure, with fluid building in her lungs. She has to stay in the ICU for treatment and tests. I got to hold her before leaving. I'm so, so scared for her.

oh my god you remind me of my collection of all the Hong Kong imported anime dvds I bought when I was a kid, which included most of the YuGiOh anime. The subtitles were such a gem, hahaha
