Just finished this interesting read over the weekend. I picked it up because I'd never heard of a horror book involving horses. Some good ideas in here but the execution didn't quite work for me. Overall, still enjoyable enough.

My favorite goosebumps was "Piano Lessons can be Murder"! I read so many of those books, those and Animorphs.

The Shining is my favorite! It was the first one I read, and I was abroad in Egypt at the time. It always brings back memories of the trip when I re-read 😊 Christine and Cujo are close second favorites.

I actually don't know! I only learned recently that it was a show and I haven't seen it yet. I plan to watch it when I finish the books. 🙃

I like the tactile experience of physical books, but lately I find digital e-books easier to read.

Just finished book 2 in the Wayward Pines trilogy by Blake Crouch, "Wayward". Another fun thriller that answered some questions from the first book and asked some more for the final installment.

I love Hill House, but I think this one is my favorite of Jackson's works. It's just that good. I thought the movie was decent too!

The Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton meant so much to me in my late teens. Loved those books so much!

It's really good! He employs sporadic second person perspective masterfully at certain points. It's so effective.

I just read his book "The Only Good Indians" and really loved it! I'll have to add this one to the list too.

Reading this one for a book club right now! We're doing it in parts so I'm not far in yet but really loving it so far!

I've heard similar feedback from others too! I'm about to start book 2 now, looking forward to learning more about what's going on 😬
