So stop playing into their narrative. Be clear about who the good guys and the bad guys are, no matter fucking what.

Yes, they'll use whatever they can. They'll also say a nonviolent protest was violent. They'll also beat you and arrest you and then say you hit them first (as police traditionally have at protests). I'm not saying some actions won't be used against people, I'm saying that narrative happens anyway.

Advocate for the tactics you believe are powerful and effective—we probably agree about those. But stop preemptively scapegoating the same people that Trump scapegoats for his fascist violence. Only this administration is to blame for its violence. It was already planned.

Assisted by ATF agents here, CBP just rushed out of the gate and immediately into the crowd to seize safety gear (umbrellas, shields) from protesters. Loaded them into this truck.

Happening now: at the Broadview ICE facility outside Chicago, Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino and other CBP/ICE agents emerge to patrol Beach Street and escort a vehicle out.

They ordered people out of the street, walked to the end of it and then back to the fence.
