Get better soon Lauren. I'm only just now shrugging off the 'flu after sleeping far too much and feeling rotten for the past few days. Living on tea and soup was some small compensation though. 💚☕

Chronic fatigue after the 'flu is still hanging on. Spent all day asleep in bed and feel much better for it. Far too many dreams though, - more than I can remember and write down.

I've lost weight too. I put on my favourite long skirt this morning and it slipped right off my hips. I had to resort to a safety pin in order to keep it in place.

I don't know if a Meadow Fae can catch the 'flu, - or maybe she has hayfever which would be just as bad if not worse if you are a Meadow Fae. Anyway this is a digital pen and ink sketch of a Meadow Fae sitting amongst the grass and wildflowers wiping her nose and looking fairly miserable.

9 days since catching the 'flu and I'm only just starting to feel like I'm seeing the end of it. Finally able to leave my bed and walk without feeling like I'm going to lose my balance and fall in a heap. The joint pain was the worst. Coughing and a runny nose were done with after about 5 days.

Amazon endlessly offers me mystery crime thrillers where some unfortunate woman, or women, end up dead in icky circumstances. I do not have the slightest interest in this kind of book.

I think it would be worthwhile doing that Lauren. Mind you some employers seem to be just plain crap at letting applicants know if they got the job or not.

Back to the horror of a new empty chapter page again this morning. 500 good well written words is all I ask for, but a few more than that would be nice.

This afternoon I was searching through one of my bookcases and I found a couple of large A4 envelopes. Inside them I found a couple of short stories and a longer piece I'd written back in the mid 1990's. Very much a pleasant surprise.
