pretty useful if I ever feel like bending the world to my will
22.11.2025 12:22 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0tonight I had this wild dream where the concierge of my building had a forge in the basement underneath its place, and he basically showed me how to forge the One ring 🥲
22.11.2025 12:16 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0yes, don't most mobile plan have data limit ?
I mean, past my limit (350gb) I still have access, but I can hardly call that having internet access since even a 144p video can't run 🫠
the downside of relying solely on your phone's data plan for accessing internet is that when you run out of data, you're really off the grid 🥲
19.11.2025 15:30 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0very hyped by the new Steam hardware, I mean wow, so many cool stuff at once
Now waiting for the price reveals, but I expect them to be pretty fair
why is that in 2025 we can't use Bluetooth earphones with Xbox or playstation consoles, I don't understand.
For once, Nintendo is ahead in that matter
one thing I can’t wait to see coming with onboard LLMs in smartphones, is the ability to change settings using natural language
so we don’t need to dig around to find a particular setting
iPhone 17 benchmarks :
- battery life
- memory bandwidth comparison
- in game gpu comparison

in short, iPhone 17 is quite a big leap, the kind not seen for years in iphone, in terms of GPU performance (up to 50% better in some games, due to dynamic caching V2 in particular it seems), global efficiency and battery life
here are a few screenshots from the video
for those interested, here is an in-depth review of the iphone 17's chip, with a level of expertise I've rarely seen.

thinking about the Elder Scrolls 6 and the ship building feature it will probably come with...
being able to sail across the sea, explore Islands and all, that would be soo cool *_*
my iPhone 16 pro seems to overheat less since ios26rc, compared to iOS 18.5 and 18.6 which were overheating nightmares in my experience
tho it’s a bit hard to say for sure, since the weather is also getting colder
And in the end, the one I chose is the Wandrd Nimbus.
this backpack is so well made, and packed with many cool features
It's also the most stylish imo among the others
And it has this sort of anti-theft feature with these lash points within you can pass the zippers of the top pockets
The backpacks I considered :
- Patagonia terravia pack 22L
- North Face Borealis
- Able Carry Max EDC
- Aer Pro pack 20L
- Wandrd Nimbus
- Peak Design outdoor backpack 18L
after some benchs, I found the best EDC backpack for me
Here are all my criteria :
- nice design yet not flashy
- ~20L
- small front/top pocket
- weatherproof
- sternum straps
- not too bulky
- a bit of internal organisation
- not roll-top
- durable
- anti-theft feature
aw I won't be able to see the eclipse tonight because it's cloudy, sadness...

Time for benchmarking
I’ve been trying to get pyWhispercpp to use my nvidia GPU for two days, I’m on the verge of giving up...... 😵💫

It’s part of the “Forgotten Holidays Day,” for those who can’t afford to go on vacation.
I find it touching
it's also finally announcing the end of the worst season and the begining of the best one 🍂

(dynamic views for Obsidian, offline mode for Notion)
now the migration from Notion to Obsidian can begin..

I've been waiting for this for so long <3
pretty interesting stuff here.
if this MacBook is running macOS, I'd really see myself carrying that whenever I'm not at home

I haven't experimented enough yet to have a definitive opinion, so who knows, but from my current exp, I find it notably more relevant than gpt4o and adhering more closely to the prompts
11.08.2025 00:50 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0it seems quite trendy to dislike gpt5
Well, I was certainly expecting more, but aside from that, it's not bad at all imo, and better than gpt4o from my experience so far 🤷🏻♂️
one thing I'm seriously looking forward to testing thoroughly, is the the hallucination rate on #gpt5.
Will it become as reliable as Perplexity for fact-checking..
#gpt5 h-2
