This is what happens, I think, when concepts are reduced to acronyms. They lose their meaning, and it's so much easier for people to reject them. We should never use those initials; we should always say what we mean. Diversity. Equity. Inclusion.

I mean, diversity: lots of different kinds of people! Equity: fairness, equality, enough for all. Inclusion: Making room for everyone. HOW HAVE PEOPLE BEEN PERSUADED THESE THINGS ARE BAD
