I am thrilled to announce that in spite of the absolutely dire academic landscape, I have finally escaped trainee limbo! Starting in August, I will be the newest Assistant Professor of Biology at Western Connecticut State University. I can't wait to start this next stage of my career!

This is outrageous. Would strongly encourage all of us to ask our universities how they plan to protect our salaries (already for those on NSF fellowships, preemptively for those of us with NIH funding).
