So the Asrock motherboard issue hit my CPU today. Already ordered replacement parts that are coming tomorrow, so hopefully my PC will be back in working condition then!

Having a fun vacation so far!

#PcBuilding I wonder why PSU companies haven't standardized the pinout for different PSUs. Like right now if you want a new PSU, you also have to replace all the cables, even if it's the same company that makes the new one. If we had a standard, we would just need to replace the one part.

My #Gaming take of the day: The trend of games whitelisting the Steam Deck and not allowing desktop Linux is a bad one. The Steam Deck can do everything desktop Linux can do, so there's no reason to limit things to JUST the Steam Deck.

The other nice thing about the whole ordeal: I might be able to fit the fan from the old cooler in my case somewhere. I'm using a really small case (see previous posts for images) so I need all the airflow I can get lol

Just replaced my CPU cooler. I never want to do that again lol I had so many dumb issues, like:

- The motherboard PSU connector was being stubborn
- One of the screws was bent
- Had to redo my BIOS settings

But my temps have dropped a solid 10 C, so I think it was worth it!

Expedition 33 has been an awesome game so far! I heard it was made by a bunch of exe Ubisoft devs. If true, it really shows what AAA devs can do when they're not limited by corporate BS lol
