I think they genuinely operate at a literal bare minimum of staff, so anyone goes off sick or takes a holiday and they have to make up excuses to run a partial or no service.

CalMac are awful. I lived in Dunoon for a few years, and at no time did they ever operate their service to the level advertised. Ever.

There’s nothing brave about transphobia. Transphobia wins you the support of the billionaire class, most of the media and the political establishment. There’s nothing ‘punk’ or brave about it. Have you the spine to stand by minorities while they are demonised?

Sadly, snivelling coward seems most likely, since a disturbingly large proportion of his party are on the populist right and his only real priority is holding them together to stay in power.

It’s almost as if you don’t actually *need* to have seen those other things, and can just enjoy a decent movie with fun action, good acting, some laughs, and a storyline that chugs along nicely. Weird, that.

So, I really enjoyed Captain America: Brave New World, having seen and enjoyed all the things that fed into it.

My partner, who, saw TFatWS and Eternals back when they came out and didn’t remember much about them, and never saw the 2008 Incredible Hulk, also really enjoyed it.
