I was thinking same. I moved away in 2010 and still get a polling card at home. Ironically I have voted in 2 NZ elections while on holiday in Ireland. No postal, constituency only, no early voting......it's so bad it would be considered voter suppression if it was in a "developing" nation.

RTE made an excellent choice with @cmatbaby.bsky.social's Stay For Something as their official #ge24 anthem. Summed up the voters' attitude to FFG with the lyric:

It's true that bluesky isn't great for news and commentary about Palestine. Maybe it will get better, maybe it won't. But we have to keep trying because it's crucial to talk about Palestine precisely where it feels unwelcome.
