I have long said that the Croonchy Stars cereal box was the best cereal box of all time. Well today one sold at auction for $3850. (It’s not even my favorite version of the box. No, I didn’t win the auction.)
On Friday at Comic Con, a guy sitting next to me sneezed so hard that his attempt to cover it resulted in the sneeze shooting out sideways. A week later, I am sneezing so hard I need to grab furniture to brace myself.

I have to shout out the place I had dinner tonight. It’s called Noona’s and it’s an ice cream shop in the East Village that specializes in Asian flavors. I had the strawberry yuzu lemon poppy cake flavor and the sesame flavor, with crunchies and strawberry jam, and it was delicious.
Dragon Tan Tan at Ippudo. I popped in for a quick dinner before seeing Passion Pit around the corner. I was afraid when I started reading the less than rave reviews that I made the wrong choice. But this was delicious. I loved the Sichuan peppercorn.

Phil was making a smoothie and he thought it needed something. I joked that he should throw in a jelly ring. And he did, and it was amazing. Almond butter, some mixed fruit smoothie base, half a banana, a little almond extract, and a jelly ring. Delicious!

Today my more than 5-year weekly Peloton streak came to an end. I think it was time. It’s been over effectively for weeks anyway and it felt like I was living a lie! But I can’t be done. Gotta get back on the horse (bike, mat, road). Always get back on.

The nice people at Bonelle Bakery on Ascan just let me buy 6 hamentaschen despite being $2 short. Owing them $2 gives me a good reason to go back and buy more on Friday. Which I was going to do anyway, but now I have to, to be a good person. 😇😋

I had my wisdom teeth out on Wednesday. And despite all the warnings and all the directions, I cannot keep from eating delicious forbidden foods (spicy food, rice, yesterday I sipped a bit of beer through a straw). So I’m pretty sure I have dry socket now. Ow.

I go to the Ocean Wreck Divers flea market almost every year. I have lots of dive gear I’d like to get rid of, even a dry suit. But this year I decided not to go. Mostly out of laziness.

I made Phil a delicious black bean-based chocolate layer cake for V-day and there was extra chocolate buttercream so I just ate that on toast for breakfast with strawberry jam. Follow me for more healthy meal ideas. 😆
