المعهد الوطني للتراث يسترجع 6 قطع أثرية نادرة من معهد العالم العربي بباريس بعد 30 سنة من الإعارة. من بينها قطع من قرطاج وصبرة المنصورية ومجموعة إثنوغرافية من متحف العادات بتونس. خطوة مهمة في سبيل حماية تراثنا الوطني وإعادته لأرضه الأصلية.

عسكر الزواوة أصلهم من منطقة القبائل في الجزائر، جابهم بايات تونس مع الانكشارية في القرن 16. كانوا جيش وافد، ما عندهمش جذور محلية، وسهل السيطرة عليهم. خدموا في الثكنات، تمرّدوا أكثر من مرة، وتونسوا تدريجياً بالأسماء والألقاب. كانوا نواة الجيش التونسي، لكن عاشوا مهمّشين، وانتهت حكايتهم سنة 1883.
