For the first time in nearly 15 years there are no Teslas in our driveway.

Dr. MaCalus Hogan came to Henry Ford as our Grand Rounds Speaker and gave an amazing talk!

It is always so fun connecting with great leaders who happen to be great friends.

The dawn of understanding once the datapoints are added is rewarding.

Not because it's punitive but because it's foundational.

I have sentinel articles on my server ready to share. Reading the article & sharing with me is the "homework."

My favorite resident moment is finding a thing in clinic (e.g. positive "O'Brien's test" for AC joint pain) and asking "Are you surprised that this was abnormal in this patient?" Followed by.

"Have you read the "Active Compression Test" article from AJSM?

@ranaawdish.bsky.social is even more amazing in person and I'm lucky enough to have her as a partner!

Agreed about the strut. The big advantage I have seen is that it enables you to have more bone when the medial cortex is attenuated and thin. If the stem loosens in the future the allograft might give you more to work with. As a result I would use one with thin cortices. I don't see that here.

OR day and the resident is crushing it.

A little something came for my office today.

Spent two hours yesterday in the lab with two PhDs thinking about the interplay between obesity and orthopaedic disease and how it can be modeled, studied, and then napkin drew a ten year research pathway.

I love this part of research so much.
