It's hard to be intimidated by Pete Hegseth.

First & foremost: he's terrified of men in dresses. He thinks fear of women & Trans proves he has a "warrior ethos."

I hope I live to see the day some cheeky textbook author puts a photo of him next to the textbook definition of Fragile Masculinity.

Which is exactly what I did when Pete Hegseth decided it would boost morale to fly people in from ALL over the world to call them fat.

Peak insecure masculinity.

To any reporters who disputed what Gov. Pritzker said on Sept. 2 he believed the Texas National Guard was being considered, please remember to not take the statements of Trump, Noem, or Abbott at face value. Many turn out to be lies.

Pretty clear Stephen Miller, Noem, Hegseth and Trump are trying to provoke a Civil War at this point. What's interesting is they want to do it now, because even though they're unpopular, they seem to believe this is the most popular they'll be ever again. We can't let them win.

He's normalizing it so he can cancel the midterms and already have the troops setup shop and ready. The real question is what do liberals do after that? Just wait for our "leaders" to write another strongly worded letter of disapproval?

I was a skeptic about the import of the Epstein files.

But 3 invasions of cities, one military buildup outside Venezuela, a government shutdown, and so many other things meant to distract have me convinced whatever’s in there is the biggest presidential scandal in U.S. history.

Trump is at war with the US Constitution.

ICE & federal law enforcement should be seen as enemy combatants. Because they are.

The brave men and women who serve in our national guards must not be used as political props. This is a moment where every American must speak up and help stop this madness.

This evening, President Trump is ordering 400 members of the Texas National Guard for deployments to Illinois, Oregon, and other locations within the United States. No officials from the federal government called me directly to discuss or coordinate.

IL can't preemptively sue the fed gov over a potential NG deployment bc of the "ripeness." A case is not considered ripe for litigation until harm has actually occurred or/is imminent.Until fed troops are physically deployed,any legal challenge is considered premature & hypothetical.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and Attorney General Kwame Raoul have stated they filing lawsuits against the federal government over its immigration enforcement actions and attempts to deploy the NG in Chicago. Legal actions are now underway, just like Portland did.

I keep going back to Karoline Leavitt citing hospitals having to cover the cost of uncompensated care in the ER not as a reason to increase reimbusement for uncompensated care but as a reason to let people die.
