Am digging into this quite a bit and better defining leveling guidance so our team can continue to grow in their careers, especially as many seek to remain within design systems.

There is a lot of ambiguity for around leveling within a Design System team. The company has guidance for Product Designers and feature Software Development Engineers, but our team is more in a Venn Diagram of both plus additional skills specific to working on Design Systems.
