The first goal I’m going to tackle is getting my drone pilots license so I can shoot drone footage in a commercial and professional setting.

If anyone has experience with the FAA Part 107 Airman Knowledge Test and has pointers on study guides or classes they took let me know.

I lost a videography and video editing job. Ever since then I’ve felt like I’m not good at video. I gave up interviewing for video jobs and settled for a factory job. I’ve barely done any video projects since because part of me convinced myself people don’t like my work and that I was bad at it.

I saw him do the panel in 2023, and I achieved one of the goals I set then (lose 100lbs yay) but since I didn’t attend a con in 2024 due to financial reasons and lack of employment, I lost sight of my goals. I felt demoralized that I was laid off from a career job.

Driving home from FWA I thought a lot about @hopecollie.bsky.social ‘s panel. I absolutely needed the reminder to love every part of myself and take actionable steps to achieve my goals. It’s hard for me to put into words how relevant and important this panel was to me.

I think this fwa wasnt as good as the last time I went, but to be fair that was my first con ever. I still had a really good time and absolutely needed this vacation :3
