Made this as a gift for @raizap.com while they were at #MFF and just handed it off. This was so much fun to work on! Love working with ink and copic markers. And always a pleasure to show my love for this series! ^_^

Oh I did doodle a macro Angoramon pic the other day after my ghost game rant cause I miss him, I wanted to do something low angle stompy with him

He's not sure whats gotten into Betelgammamon to make him tiny & kinda... freaky (Gulus got into him) but it doesn't make him feel bad either.

also I think I took 2 adhd meds instead of 1 yesterday because I walked through a doorframe and couldn't remember if I took it and its made me kinda loopy for the past day and a half

Sorry today hasn't been a work day its been a hyperfixate on yugioh deckbuilding because I discovered a remote YCS is this weekend and I can actually play in a YCS for once

With my little mobile tablet actually having a camera I can participate in remote events again which is nice.

Its just a bit weird cause like I do want to hit every major story beat and it will continue eventually but... I just want to be careful with all the payment processor stuff... furry art is my only current source of revenue, I don't want to risk anything right now.

I wanna just bring up some stuff about why the Ammy growth drive is on hiatus, cause I still want to do more but the 15th one was a nice stopping point while I try to finish comms

but I'm worried about payment processor blowback stuff & twitter dying while the drive happened futzed with the numbers

between what you're seeing and what the characters are feeling, that really rubbed me the wrong way, not that I wanted "oh they're so traumatized now" stuff either, I just think it sucks that the digimon could evolve, the horror could escalate but the characters couldn't

Whats the horror for then?

of progression in the horror that they pushed, in the evolutions of the digimon... but if the characters are still acting and responding to genuine horror and getting reset to the status quo at the end and beginnings of each episode, than that progression doesn't matter and theres such a disconnect-

while I don't mind that if theres some substance to it, the fact that the characters weren't able to respond to any of it in a meaningful way or grow in a way that mattered really bummed me out, cause I loved the cast

Theres nothing wrong with episodic monster of the week tv but there was a sense-

If you draw your sketch so loose and blocky that you would never feel like its "better than your lines" you never have to worry about that feeling holding you back

My advice is to sketch way looser & thicker with something thick & low opacity, cause the big problem I ran into is feeling like your inks are "competing" with the quality & naturalism of your own sketch

Feeling like you're competing with your past self can be demoralizing, so just don't compete
