Strange how every “America First” move somehow ends up helping Moscow. What a coincidence.

Frustration over U.S. health costs erupts at congressional hearing Democrats and Republicans are divided on many things, but they joined in pillorying health care executives at a committee hearing on Thursday.

Five health insurance executives appeared before congressional committees and faced a barrage of angry questions from Republicans and Democrats, who found bipartisan agreement that their constituents were being crushed by rising health care costs.

Horrible!

The traitors and thieves who seized and usurped our government, and hacked their way into seats, need to get capital punishment for their treason and espionage.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Is Outsourcing More of His Office’s Work to Costly Private Lawyers Despite having an office of hundreds of attorneys, Ken Paxton is frequently opting for private lawyers — many to whom he has personal or political ties — to argue on behalf of Texas. One attorney cost...

Texas AG Ken Paxton hired a former staffer to work on a recent case. As a state employee, her labor would have cost taxpayers $641.

As a private attorney, Paxton allowed her to bill $3,780 an hour, so that day of work cost taxpayers $24,570.

Sinclair floods local news websites with hundreds of deceptive articles about Biden's mental fitness This month, Sinclair Broadcast Group has flooded a vast network of local news websites with misleading articles suggesting that President Biden is mentally unfit for office.

Repost from last year about Sinclair News, owner of local news stations.

STILL think Dems can "flood the media" with magic messaging?

"Each of these crass political smears masquerading as journalism was syndicated to at least 86 local news websites owned by Sinclair."

So grateful for the clear, unequivocal witness and voice of Rep. @maxwellfrost.bsky.social who visited the horrifying detention camp in Florida. As he said, “I didn’t see any Russians who’ve overstayed their visas. Only Black & Latino men who look like me.” @maddow.msnbc.com

According to this Supreme Court, President Biden's Department of Education was exceeding its power by trying to forgive peoples' student loans.

President Trump, on the other hand, has the power to just completely dismantle the entire Education Department.

Trump’s post is completely unhinged, but the ratio is the real story.

His base isn’t buying it. They’re clinging to the Epstein list and his QAnon echo chamber hyped for years. They wanted to take down the Clintons.

He built this monster. Now it’s backfiring on him.

Red States Struggle to Build New Systems to Share Voter Data Read more here.

Right-wing conspiracies drove red states to leave ERIC, a data compact that helps states maintain voter rolls, and vow to create their own voter data systems. Two years later, those efforts have instead put voters at risk of disenfranchisement.

Great @willoremus.com report on how the AI moratorium came unwound. Amazing how close it came with virtually no public debate. This explains more of what was going on behind closed doors.

The left better start figuring out how to weaponize today's decision rather than just (rightfully) criticizing it.

- Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders.

- Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

- Religious exception rulings apply only to the plaintiffs.

- Environmental regulations continue to be enforced despite rulings against them (just not against plaintiffs).

- and on and on.

The left has to use this decision, not just criticize it.

It'll be chaos, but that's what the Justices get.

Inside the Company Helping America’s Biggest Health Insurers Deny Coverage for Treatments When companies like Aetna or UnitedHealthcare want to rein in costs, they turn to EviCore, whose business model depends on turning down payments for care recommended by doctors for their patients.

EviCore markets itself to insurers by promising a 3-to-1 return on investment — that is, for every $1 spent on EviCore, the insurer would pay out $3 less on medical care and other costs.

11 key allegations made in Erez Reuveni's whistleblower disclosure about DOJ Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche attacked the claims as "falsehoods," but many of the fired longtime DOJ lawyer's allegations are already backed up by public facts.

The claim that Emil Bove told DOJ lawyers they might have to say "fuck you" to court orders rightfully shocked people. The full scope of lawyer Erez Reuveni's claims, however, paints an even more damning picture.

At Law Dork, here are 11 key allegations from the whistleblower disclosure —>

Ohio lawmakers seek to go against constitutional amendment with new anti-abortion bill The bill would make abortion — both obtaining and performing one — a criminal act in the state, subject to homicide charges.

This bill would criminalize abortion (+other health care such as IVF & some contraception) brazenly violates the Reproductive Freedom Amendment.

Just as we have gone to court to strike down other unconstitutional barriers, were it to pass, we will sue.
