My favorite is when you're on Amtrak & your train is delayed. Now you're blocking cargo & you have to stop for freight trains & sometimes even go backwards to clear the track for the stuff that makes money. Nothing like already being late & then seeing countryside rolling in the wrong direction.
Apparently there is also now a Netflix series in our future. So there's spring break/plant shutdown sorted I guess!

I mean, sure, maybe some of them WERE playing with fear. But I hardly think a presser is the place to address it. You can allude to corrections needed w/o the criticism. And fuck's sake. Take responsibility as the coach. Where do you think player attitudes come from in the first place??
That's my thinking. Plus: as a principal, I've always been a "praise in public, correct in private" sort of person so it just doesn't sit right with me after a loss to whine to the press about player attitudes. Sort that stuff out in the locker room or better yet 1:1. That's what a real leader does.

Heyyyy I tried converting my go-to oatmeal jam bars to something almost everybody can eat: gluten free, vegan, and even oil free so my Old Believer friends can eat them during Lent, and I have to say they taste pretty good. It is a small win but I will take it today, tyvm
