This all looks great. A really solid World Cup collection.

The bucket hat is brilliant

Alejandro Zendejas made Subaru Park a milestone in his race for the U.S. World Cup team The attacking midfielder was one of the box office attractions in the Union-Club América game, his first contest on U.S. soil since scoring a big goal for his country last fall.

Nathan Harriel gave Zendejas a nice endorsement, as did Club América manager André Jardine.

"If not the best, he’s certainly among the three most important players in the entire Mexican league," Jardine said. "I also want to see him at this World Cup."

MLS’s Polymarket deal looks even worse after players’ gambling bans | Leander Schaerlaeckens With its credibility swaying in the wake of a betting scandal, the very last thing the league needed was to be in business with a prediction platform

In late January, Major League Soccer announced a partnership with Polymarket, where you can now bet on the league's games.

42 days later, it handed lifetime suspensions to two players who had bet on their own MLS games, a case being investigated since October...

Yikes.

Excited to share that this will be my final week of nonsense. Back to work next week — and more on that in the coming days 👀 ⚽️

For now, taking in this absolutely lovely NYC weather. It was a really really long winter—we needed this stretch of sunshine.

This Tottenham squad has a lot of talent. There are some very, very good players on the pitch right now.

It shouldn’t be this easy for Palace.

This is a broken culture at the moment.

What a winner for NYCFC. Absolutely resilient in stoppage time here, and it's paid off.

Talles Magno looked like he'd ruined that chance, but nobody marked Gray in the box. Perfect header.

Mahkanya's silly red looms large now.

Thomas Müller’s instinct is genuinely impeccable.

Not the fastest. Not the strongest.

Just the goddamn smartest. Nobody tracked that run. Brilliant.

That is an absolutely awful decision to send off Antonio Carlos.

There’s no holding back here — it’s an awful call.

OCASIO-CORTEZ STATEMENT ON
TRUMP'S COMBAT OPERATIONS IN IRAN
"The American people are once again dragged into a war they did not want by a president who does not care about the long-term consequences of his actions. This war is unlawful. It is unnecessary. And it will be catastrophic.

"Just this week, Iran and the United States were negotiating key measures that could have staved off war. The President walked away from these discussions and chose war instead.President Trump flippantly acknowledged the possibility of American casualties, stating "that often happens in war.'

"Mr. President: this was not an inevitability. This is a deliberate choice of aggression when diplomacy and security were within reach. Stop lying to the American people.

"Violence begets violence. We learned this lesson in Iraq. We learned this lesson in Afghanistan. And we are about to learn it again in Iran. Bombs have yet to create enduring democracies in the region and this will be no different.

"In moments of war, our Constitution is unambiguous: Congress authorizes war. The President does not. I will do my part to uphold our Constitution by voting YES on Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie's War Powers Resolution. Every member of Congress must join us in rejecting this aimless war.

They killed schoolchildren, Chuck. Your “imploring” isn’t going to solve shit. Resign and let someone willing to fight against fascism take over.

Ugly, ugly win for the Wolves.

Big clutch performance from ANT down the stretch.

Back Sunday.

I hope Finch rips this team to shreds at the break.

The Clippers have been abysmal. 1-11 from distance — and no Kawhi!

And yet, somehow, the Wolves only banked 12 points in Q2.

ANT with 11, Donte with 12 at the break but this is nowhere near good enough from a Western Conf. contender.

On AZ… he’s no longer the young footballer he was in MN that stirred up things leading to it not working out with the Loons.

Lots of positives with CLB and CITY before his move abroad, too.

Let’s hope the footy does the talking in Vancouver. Still so talented.

Seb Berhalter, dagger.

Pochettino will love that one.

Whitecaps should be through with that one. Cheeky work in buildup from journeyman AZ Jackson.

Some finish from Cabrera.

Whitecaps now in pole position, even if they have been sloppy.

Need to put it to bed, though. Get that second.

Did… did I hear right that a Cartaginés had their athletic trainer sent off?

When their goalkeeper got injured?

What on earth did he say 😂

Brian White, woof. He’s going to want that one back.

Really poor penalty.

It’s also wild to say ANT has been poor this half.

He went into the break with 25 points.

All that matters is that, come the postseason, he comes close to replicating that across all four quarters.

This has been gutsy, but damn, what a game.

Jaden has been fantastic. He’s been meeting the standard asked of him, maybe even more — but this game, this win — it’s Rudy.

ANT’s rough Q4 meant someone needed to step up above their standard, and Gobert has done just that.

Genuinely fantastic from him. Hell yeah, big Ru. Hell yeah.

If you ever read the Alex Cross books in the early/mid 2000s or saw the Morgan Freeman movies in the 90s it’s a character spinoff from those.

It doesn’t adapt the books, but took the characters and made new stories for TV.

Really enjoying it as a reader of the series

This Q4 from Rudy… sensational.

He’s stepping up massively during this poor stretch from ANT.

Absolutely elevating the group here.
