Hey,
I’m after a week of doing my darnest to stay afloat. Trying as hard as I can to keep it together and hang on to every little bit of joy or comfort I manage to find, and I’m not sure how long I can keep it up like this.
It's getting close to a year since the failure of local authorities forced me to return to live in a household I fled from because of abuse.
I made friends that are able to bring me some happiness despite all of this, but my happiness deserves to be on it's own, and not at odds with suffering.
Things are still stuck in place. By this point, I'm emotionally shut down most of the day to cope.

I think men get into more car accidents and are more subject to road rage, statistically, but I'm not entirely sure. I think either way though it's rooted in the "women can't drive" stereotype, regardless of statistics. Given how bad insurance is with women generally, it wouldn't shock me 😔
Actually, in the US anyway where all this same stuff happens, women are frequently charged for more on insurance. My mom's car insurance payment went down when I got my independent license, and it went up when my sister got hers, both compared to when we were permit drivers
