Kitchener saw Waterloo approving a project for over 1k affordable homes on city land this week and was like hold my beer pal (we love to see it)

Doug Ford showing us that he can get things done. Too bad he's focused on ripping up safe municipal infrastructure instead of improving health care, education, and housing.
The Ford government is keeping us hooked on fossil fuels.
If we want to get serious about addressing climate change, we need to stop subsidizing big oil & gas.

Hi all,
I'm slowly building a moderation list of accounts that spread egregious false claims about COVID, vaccines etc.

Now that the anti-bike lane bill passed, how do municipalities
do long-term planning? As I see it, they either a) never add bike lanes where car lanes would be removed or b) have to do it, then ask permission, then update and repeat. I'm worried that they may not want to even try now.

One of the things that Ford and Trump have in common is their ability to own the airwaves. Right now we are all (understandably) talking about bike lanes and not the cronyism, health care crisis, and misspending. The former might cement their support while the latter could cost it.
It was somewhat reassuring today to hear the government house leader's warm comments for Transgender Day of Remembrance. I wish this wasn't so surprising to me. Now we need to convince them that words aren't enough... #onpoli
This is really helpful, thanks!
The most surprising thing to me was the hard plate in their butt! Apparently to protect against predation as they burrow...
