Three sharkfolks representing clothing from a tribalistic era. The second robust shark, which appears to be a caribbean reef shark, is wearing more complex and ornate clothing made of handcrafted algae fibers, its body features tribal paintings, and it holds a spear decorated with its own teeth. The third tall shark, which appears to be a hammerhead shark, is wearing a more elaborate tunic, adorned with bird feathers and detailed weaving. Someone on Tumblr asked me how my Sharkfolk would make clothes, since mammals were extinct in their time. Well, there are many ways to make clothes! They would make them mainly with seaweed fibers. 🌿

I made this little sketch trying to represent the evolution of their clothing.
