I'm so happy to see Mega Golurk is real. He seems like he's gonna be ass competitively but my fav got a mega so IDC

Oh, also I don't really love how the lock-on works or how you're forced to have it on to use moves, there were several awkward positions I got into because of it. But I think that'll also be gotten used to over time, I already feel a lot more comfortable to it compared to when I started.

Writing's the best it's been ever, music's fantastic, pretty much every character was a joy to interact with, I really appreciate how much better the animation & art direction here is (though I still prefer how SwSh and PLA look out of the switch games).

I also don't feel like I get the combat that well, but it's the sort of thing where I like the challenge of figuring out the new system and what works/what I like using. The protect on everyone plan didn't work out the way I hoped, but we'll figure out what's best for my fourth move slots over time.

I think the weakest part for me was the map design, it's the kind of thing where I wish there were more landmarks or ways for me to figure out where I was without having to rely on fast travel constantly.

Dumb switch app stuff means I have to do actual photos, but this was the main party. Couple of changes in plan happened, and this game also marks the first time I got a shiny early enough I could fit it onto the team!

Finished PLZA! Had a very good time, looking forward to the post-game. This ended up being my highest level party for a main game ever, ended at just above level 80. I blame that + a slightly extended playthrough time on being stuck for hours trying to find Hawlucha

I need to go to sleep because man I didn't expect it to be out tonight but PLZA has been fun so far

I hate that protect has the longest fucking cooldown in the universe though

The teraleak stuff I have seen is a lot to think about and I'm definitely more anxious about the future than I was previously

Good news is I've settled on what I think my party will be as a result of the datamine, should be fun! Also saying it this way because, with the new gameplay style, I'm open to the possibility I might find stuff I like playing more & change the team up.

Need to fight against looking up further pokemon spoilers, I'm curious about the tera leak stuff but I got pretty much everything I wanted from the PLZA datamine so I'm now trying to avoid being spoiled on the rest of the game

Finished playing Etrian Odyssey 1 for the first time. Had a lot of fun, good step up in difficulty after DQ3, probably would be more enjoyable if I went back with a plan on what I want my party to look like.

Possible next up will be EO2, but I'll see

Half the point is there's new story at the end, so don't gotta worry about that at least. But yeah, totally understand otherwise.

I'm happy to see Disgaea 7 Complete finally coming over, but I hope I can upgrade the base game. I'm slightly worried about the prospect of having to go through the whole game again, as much as I liked playing 7...

Cannot wait for Saturday aaa

Interested in whatever the new content for DQ1&2 is, raidou remaster is neat, cool to see a new rhythm heaven and a bit more of PLZA, SRW Y seems neat, very happy about new Tomodachi Life, what a thing to end on holy shit.

I should just make a new twitch account. I miss watching my friends

Finished FF5 Pixelmaster. Hey guess what it's a fantastic game and I still love it a lot

I think I'll revisit it later in the week just to try and knock out the superbosses (I've never beaten them!) so we'll see how that goes

Got all classes fully levelled, so enjoying using max power Freelancers for everyone. Might think about making everyone mimics later if I wanna mix it up.

Party setup is Bartz + Krile with rapid strike + blue magic, lenna with white + summon, and faris with black + time, pretty good so far

Approaching the end of FF5, still a very good time. Appreciating how strong rapid strike is this time around

Depending on how I feel, after 5 I might grab 2 & 6 and go through those games too, but I think it'll end up being a bad idea to go through that many FFs in a row, especially when one of them is 2.

Somehow completely forgot to bring up here, but DQ3 put me in the mood for some classic RPGs, and I'm excited for MTG's FF set, so I recently went through FF1 again and I'm now going through FF5 again (both the pixelmaster versions). It's been a blast to go back to some old FF games again.

And for the curious, this was the final party! Very happy with how everyone turned out in the end, the naming convention was new but very silly & fun.

Beat DQ3 HD2D. Had a great time! Very comfy sort of RPG, I have some issues with the voice acting and a bit of the graphical stuff (with the caveat of playing it on the switch), but overall think it was a great remake. Now onto the post-game!
