Was playing the flooded garage section in RE9 and my PC froze up to the point I had to do a hard restart.
I think the entire Racoon City segment will be a performance struggle for me.

Reached the actual Leon part of RE9. My body is ready.
Mostly new graphics and lighting, yes.
Other new things:
- Main character used to be silent, now has good voice acting
- New skin and flesh layering systems when shooting enemies
- There are zero-G sections and the controls are massively improved
- All voice acting has been re-recorded
If you haven't played Dead Space, the remake is currently very cheap on Steam.
Just like the original, it nails the sci-fi horror atmosphere and will appeal to fans of Alien and Event Horizon.
Has some shader compilation stutters but it's not a deal breaker.
If you love Undernauts or first person dungeon crawler, then I highly recommend to check THYSIASTERY, a game directed by Vietnamese game dev

I think in my case it's becaue I'm playing on DLSS balanced so any form of screen effect becomes more visible than they should be.
Just realised there's no film grain toggle in the RE9 options menu. Apparently it's forced on. Not a fan of film grain myself so I'm gonna try to mod it out.

Tried to watch HBO's Chernobyl but the contrast of people with Ukrainian names speaking British English is just too much.
