I’m unofficially naming the kitten Gen. Partially my name and partially where it was born 🤣

My heart was heavy this morning so thank you, Germantown Animal Shelter for saving this tiny kitten! I’ll sleep better tonight. Now on to the task of saving the Mom and two other babies….
(Oh, and once the kitten is cleared, one of our nurses is going to foster him/her)

I called the fire dept & they referred me to the humane society. When I made that call, all my fears were put at ease. The Germantown Animal Shelter (no kill) came out within 30 minutes, captured the tiny kitten out of the generator while standing on a ladder, and took him/her back for evaluation.

A feral mama cat had 3 kittens in our giant generator at work, in an area 3 feet off the ground. We noticed the kittens 2 weeks ago so we put out food for Mom so she could stay with her babies. Over the weekend, two of the kittens followed Mom out of a hole, leaving one frightened, hungry kitten. ->

Somehow, I talked my brother into doing this for my community Easter party 🤣 ❤️

I’m a huge football fan. I’m not a huge basketball fan (go Grizz!) but I graduated from Auburn so I watched the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games…. Holy crap, are those games stressful!

Someone needs to make a “Sliding Doors” film about what’s happening now vs. if Harris had won. A moment in time when undecided voters were swayed to either make a monumental mistake or save the democracy… and the aftermath. I’d go see it.

I remember my brother and I watching “Eraserhead” over and over when we were kids, even though we didn’t understand it. 20 years later, I bought the DVD and gave it to him as part of his Christmas present. No one else knew what it was or why we were laughing so hard- great memories

I was a app dev Director in a Fortune 100 company and a VP for a Fortune 500 company. After taking stock of what I REALLY wanted to do, I was no longer interested in corporate America. I’m now an Activity Director for Seniors with dementia and I absolutely LOVE waking up every day to go to work!
