Five key messages: no comment,no personal details, "under what power?", no duty solicitor, no caution Police tactics and interactions: police can act unlawfully and aggressively, especially towards black and marginalised people. PLOs (blub bibs) are intelligence gatherers - always say no comment. Kettling: no time limit, no food/water guarantee, don't give details unless Section 50. Expect intimidation, lies and divide and rule tactics Stop and search: stay calm, ask if you're being detained and remember the 4 Ws: WHY are you being searched, WHAT are police looking for, WHO is the officer and WHERE are they based. Do not give personal details and always ask for a receipt Key legal powers: Public Order Act section 12/14. Section 50 Police Reform Act (antisocial behaviour) Section 60AA Criminal Justice & Public Order Act 1994 (removal of masks), Section 35 (dispersal orders)
