I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

It can be incredibly hard to see your progress when recovering from depression or burnout. The whole world keeps demanding certain benchmarks of you to the point that it’s easy to feel like a failure despite your hard work. Remember your progress is your own journey. Every win means something.

we're not going to have a good, sustainable social media site as long as it is made or run by tech people. that is why I am building my own out of water, small rocks, moss, snails, brightly colored shrimp, one of those sucking fish, a mermaid statue. I'll be honest, this may actually be an aquarium.

2015 Digital cartoon drawing of a cat with sea-inspired markings. Circusballoon made the lines and some markings, I did the colors and topmost markings and light rings in the eyes. Text on the image says Mydas and is signed with Adoptadpoles, an old collaborative adoptable account between me and Circusballoon, which is the credit for the base lines. The base of the cat is light purple, then there are some stripey spots in just barely darker purple as well as a more solid back marking, then on top of it all there is a darker purple that is broken up like water ripple light refractions. The cat's claws are visible and are turquoise, and the cat's tongue is also turquoise with the same light refraction markings.

I'd also like to point out something my sister and I discovered recently - some colors stain more than others no matter the brand, but magic erasers help a lot more than the dry erase spray stuff if your white board seems permanently stained. In our experience the magic erasers lift everything

One of my sketchbooks is bound in a way that makes it really difficult for me to take nice pictures of both pages spread, and I think that's a shame.
