Like yes please put me right there
Okay I want to be lesbian sandwiched between Nami, Vivi and Robin please
Holy shit Chainsaw Man part 2 ending. Honestly, just out it out of its misery. I hope Fujimoto's can get a break and then start a new project with more energy
Last post. There's a lot of talk about what an adaptation of One Piece should be, and I think it should be fun above all. Episode 1 was so much fun, characters somehow able to feel believable this is ridiculous world. I cannot wait to get home and watch the rest.
I want Nico Robin to choke me with ten hands. Next post.
It's the same as S1 but Zoro is a little too edgy for me. I'm glad they've included his terrible sense of direction, but in general his seriousness tends to clash with the comedic nature of the rest of the crew. I wished he got into his silly argument with Tashigi
Small thing, but I love Alivda's appearance and how her weight loss isn't pointed out obviously. Her character is much more about revenge and scheming than how her new powers changed her appearance
The execution scene felt a little disappointing, less punchy and dramatic than the anime, with Buggy's one-liner being uncessary, I thought. The added fights mentioned helped and I'm glad Nami and Usopp were there for it.
The fights were great! Nami/Usopp vs Alvida was fun and creative, I loved Nami using her staff to break the pepper star. Tashigi vs Zoro could have used a little more time. Smoker vs Luffy/Sanji was a suitably great beat down
The cameos were fun. I thought Bartolomeo overstayed his welcome a little bit, and took time away when he wasn't particularly funny, and didn't do much. Dragon felt appropriate for his moment, and I hope he appears again before the seasons over. And Sabo?!!
Jeff Ward's Buggy the Clown is truly incredible. The perfect balance of comedic and threatening. I know the eternally witty, MCU-style dialogue is a little over done these days, but I find his performance excellent, and I smile whenever he gets a scene
Loved that each of the crew got little scenes to remind us of what's important to them. Nami with her Atlas, Sanji with the fish, Usopp calling Kaya. All great stuff and I'm really glad the show took to the time to add them. I continue to be in love with Emily Rudd's Nami
So obviously the casting is perfect, but I was surprised at how great Smoker was. Really excited to see what he and Tashigi get up to, considering the show is willing to deviate from the Manga to tell a better story
Okay finished S2E1 of the new #OnePiece, and I have so many thoughts! In general I loved it, like I loved the first season. One Piece means so much to me, and I thought the adaptation of Logue Town was pretty brilliant!
The drinking at Baratie between Zoro and Nami in S1 where they try to figure each other out is a prime example. Can't wait to see what S2 has
Live action One Piece adding little bits of humanizing interaction between the crew is so perfect. It really helps the characters not fade into the background when other characters have their arcs and moments
It's crazy how quickly I can go from super wholesome and vanilla to "fuck me into the dirt until I cry"
I die a little whether I think of the show sand snakes or euron
If only someone would press rewind to see my ass one more time
I know there's a lot of discourse on Frieren's demons as some kind of racial allegory, but I was more disappointed in the fact that demons are a static, always bad force, and that Frieren didn't learn or grow in any way. Idk if the manga expands on it, but it seems perfect for character development
Casual lesbian sex? Nah, I'm about to rank up in ranked lesbian sex
Reading is so good ngl, it helps cure my internet rotted attention span
Howdy hey π
I am definitely normal about the new trainer designs in PokΓ©mon Winds/Waves (I love her)
Part 1 is such a well paced (if a little quick), tight story with relatable characters and relationships. Part 2 added way too many and barely developed them
I have no idea what's happening in chainsaw man part 2 these days but I still read it each week hoping I'll feel something.
Okay so this girl right, my girl in fact, I adore her, but she's such a normie. The only anime she's seen in Naruto bc her little brother, her only social media is insta and TikTok, no Tumblr, she's not in any Fandom, and loves romantasy books
And yet I'm crazy about her
Nobody told me "You and I are Polar Opposites" is so cute. It's like a less angsty Horimiya, and the OP is a banger
Pollinate me plz
I love the Frieren manga, but the escalating stakes and increasing cast have me worried that it's going away from what made it so special. The magical exam was very standard shounen even if it was very good
