I’m glad FF7 on Switch basically has a “yeah I don’t really care” button for the combat. I’m enjoying just mindlessly playing it almost like a visual novel lol.

I believe it’s because Switch 1 and some of the Switch 2 accessories are manufactured in China but the Switch 2 itself is made in Vietnam which has different tariffs.

I think also comparing it to the original switch doesn’t help. That thing was crazy. It’s unreasonable to expect the same numbers. But this early on I think it’s doing pretty well. Especially once Pokemon comes out.

I don’t think the cost of physical carts SHOULD be put on the consumer but I would 100% just pay the extra like $10 for a real cartridge. I would be upset doing it but I would do it rather than buying a fucking plastic license.

Stantler is definitely my favorite and while he sucks absolute ass you get him early enough to get him to be decently leveled to not die immediately in the late game.

Not sure if this is what you mean but I always aspire to use Delibird in GSC (probably one of my favorites) but you get it so late that by the time it shows up it would just take forever to get it high enough to use. (Also stats wise it wouldn’t be worth it unless you overleveled)

I do hate the term “gacha game” because it really does just weaken what it is, which is gambling marketed to kids. Like you just add the fun word to it and everyone just goes “oh yeah but it’s a gacha so what did you expect”

I’m only really hoping for them to announce the FF7 release date for switch 2 tomorrow. That’s a game I could play on PC (and probably should) but man I am not playing a long JRPG in a desk chair. That just feels wrong. I’m 90% sure this is also why I sort of dropped Metaphor.
