Altered at Essen Spiel 2025 - Altered TCG Blog SPIEL Essen is the world’s largest game fair and once again the Equinox team had a big presence there in Hall 1 as part of the asmodee stand to show off the wonders of the game to all and sundry as well as selling Skybound Odyssey boosters and the original starters at the asmodee store. Gaming at the booth went all during the entire four days of the fair from Thursday through to Sunday. Alongside the Blog crew of Saphire (dressed as Teija), The Bravos Hatter, Gnomeschool and 4ndreas, the Equinox folks were also out in force with Pierre, CΓ©dric and the magnificent creator of the foils, Queen Sweorkie, all manning the booth. Seeds of Unity Crowdfunding on Gamefound - Altered TCG Blog Crowdfunding Unlike most previous expansions, the fifth set for the Altered TCG will be available first as part of a Gamefound campaign. The campaign will run from 28th October 2025 until 7th November 2025. The reason for this is that Equinox have decided to end their relationship with Asmodee to distribute the game, and have instead decided to take the distribution in house. The Gamefound campaign can be found here: https://gamefound.com/en/projects/altered/seeds-of-unity This time around the expansion will be available in normal booster boxes (containing 24 booster packs instead of the previous 36) and Collector Boosters. If you preorder on the Gamefound campaign then you should get your pledge in early February 2026. Seeds of Unity - SPOILERS! - Altered TCG Blog Seeds of Unity was the fifth overall set Altered TCG and the first set release through Gamefound. The pre-order campaign started on October 28, 2025, and ran until November 7, 2025, with delivery planned for February 2026. The set introduced three new Heroes for Axiom, Muna and Ordis factions, and three reprint heroes for Bravos, Lyra and Yzmir. Seeds of Unity also introduced a new rarity into Altered, besides the Common and Rare (and of course Unique) rarites, this set introduced the Bronze Gem β€œExalted” cards.
