Hey, this is in my hometown! I wouldn't have known if you hadn't reposted this, @fionaskywalker.bsky.social. I run past Canadian geese and sandhill cranes (mere feet away) almost every day. Sandhills can be intimidating in stature, but I've yet to be attacked. I wonder where in Madison this is!

I try to steer clear of politics on this social media platform, but @jefftiedrich.bsky.social is always both spot on and highly entertaining at the same time.

Mom and I have a community garden plot together. We've enjoyed growing vegetables for years. It's something that we both really enjoy. It brings us closer.

Next year we are planning on paving it over with a sort of light color granite.

It's been awhile since I've had chamomile. I think I tried it once while not feeling well. Very floral, isn't it?

I was comparing an apricot black tea to a peach black tea a few months ago. It's not quite as cut and dry (no pun intended) as the idiom of comparing apples to oranges.

So it's not just me. I've tried every tea (of the dozen or so) at my favorite coffee shop, and I was reminded again how I've never really liked Earl Grey.

To be fair, though, there are a lot of teas I've tried there that might be worse.

I was big into coffee for quite a few years. One I never tried (or wanted to try) was Kopi Luwak, a coffee made from the digested and defecated coffee cherries eaten by the Asian palm civet, a sort of Indonesian mongoose or weasel.

Olivia mentioned today she still has this shirt.
